Prayer Shawl Ministry

Can't find what you are looking for? Contact us!

The Prayer Shawl Ministry is dedicated to sharing God's love in the form of knitted or crocheted shawls and lap quilts. These works of art in fabric are presented to members of the congregation who are experiencing difficulties, such as an illness or death in the family, or are celebrating or anticipating joyous occasions, such as graduation from high school or the birth of a baby. It meets once a month, the first Tuesday of the month from 9:30 until until 11:30 a.m. Room 101 of the Activities Building. All are welcome. Even if you don't currently knit, crochet or quilt, you can learn. The group can always use help with cutting or pressing fabric.

If interesting in joining or helping the group, please contact any of the members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry: Vivian Jung, Jerri Duke, Jo Kendricks, Anne Backus, Anna Robinson, Candice Strickler, Melinda Tilley and Meg Tonne.
