Midweek Bible study
The Midweek Bible study meets each Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. in the parlor. We are studying I Corinthians. The class is designed for you to join at any time. Childcare is available.
Kerygma: a thematic Bible study
Beginning Sunday, Jan. 7, a new Bible study class will meet after worship from 11:15 a.m. until noon in the parlor, next to the sanctuary. Peggy Bertrand Terpstra is the leader. The Kerygma curriculum focuses on broad thematic arcs carried through scripture from Old to New Testaments. We will learn about the historical, political, and geographical environments that existed when biblical texts were written, and we’ll reflect on what the texts mean for us today. All are welcome!
Regular Sunday morning classes
The Early Birds group meets at 9 a.m. every Sunday in Room 6 in the Sanctuary building. The class is studying Exodus, and is led by Anne Backus and Rosalyn McKeown-Ice. Come join them for coffee, prayer, study, and great conversations. The Rise ‘n’ Shine class, taught by Cheryl Barr, Hannah Tippett, and Sue Byrne, meets at 9:00 a.m. in the parlor. They have recently begun a study of Hebrews. You are welcome you to join in the fellowship and robust discussion. For January, the Seekers class will join the new Kerygma Bible study class mentioned above.
